"Excellent hotel. Clean, easy parking, easy check in. Located at top of hill, nice view and quiet. Great breakfast. Internet worked well, very fast the first day, but not at all the second. This was not the hotel's fault. This is life in rural Germany after a heavy storm."

The breakfast is one of the best I have encountered, a massive buffet selection in a beautiful room overlooking the city. I love the roof pool and spa area to relax in. There is also another pool indoors with a sauna and spa facilities. An underground car park topped off my stay. "

"We spent five nights in this unique hotel with a fascinating history. It is set by the River Lahn in the beautiful spa town of Bad Ems. The facilities such as the thermal pool were superb and we made full use of them. The staff could not have been more helpful, the room was really clean and comfortable and the food excellent. It is unashamedly old-fashioned but is full of character and we had a superb holiday there. Highly recommended!"
