"We were warmly welcomed by Paolo and his father who were charming and very helpful. The room was huge but rather gloomy and dark with all indirect lighting. "The situation at Cannevie is superb, amidst lakes. It is very near Pomposa and convenient for Ravenna. Bedroom was excellent: comfortable and the breakfast buffet also extremely good. The (fish) restaurant is superb. I would be delighted to return. It is all very tranquil."

Hotel and rooms a little quirky in a good way - only downside is lack of air conditioning when 25C (80F) at night. Easy walk or cycle into town. Secure location to leave cars while exploring city.
