"Hotel is in great location facing the portal into citadel which encloses old town. Its a lengthy walk down to the city sized newer town and the beach beyond. However the citadel is much the nicest area to stay, unless you want the beach. The hotel is clean and comfortable although showing signs of age. The bar is very nice in the evening. Good breakfast choice although nothing hot. Good sized parking bays in garage although spaces are limited."

"The staff is not hospitable or accommodating. A bit snotty. The hotel is full of police who are working on the coast. They have taken over the hotel with their meetings and dinners and drinking at night. Not pleasant. Will not recommend."

"We enjoyed our time at this spacious, well kept house. The neighbourhood was very quiet and also included lovely homes and yards. The house was close to Vimy Ridge and we enjoyed visiting this site as well as some other Canadian War Memorials in Belgium which were a few hours away. We appreciated Katherine's messages to inquire if we were comfortable and to answer questions about the house. Thank you again for allowing us to stay at your home. "

"We had a great time staying at the gite in the lovely grounds of the chateau. The house is rustic but full of character and we really loved staying there. The grounds were very good for our young children, helped by the fabulous weather we were lucky to have. They enjoyed playing ball games and sitting in the deck chairs enoying their dinner. It was very peaceful. The hosts were also very kind and accommodating and very easy to reach. The beaches in the area are also fabulous. We had lots to do...
