"The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Great little hotel away from the main town, a short 15-20min walk into town, with lovely places to eat along the way and great views too. If you don't fancy the walk, the hotel have complimentary taxi to town, but still very cheap if you needed to pay for one when using out of hours. I felt safe walking to town on my own as a female. "Very isolated and peaceful, an ideal beach getaway. Wonderful service. Fortunately we could upgrade the room upon arrival, because the Bamboo Suite was not what we thought: it was a tiny bedroom with no storage space, and a shared common room. The next level of room was wonderful and spacious. Loved it!"

The staff was polite but nothing really worked like it should and even ordering a couple of beers was sometimes too much to get right the first time. Luckily there is a great restaurant adjacent, Ann & Mike that has great food and excellent staff. Anyone staying at pierhouse I would recommend outsourcing all your dining and drinking needs to Ann & Mike, even the prices were considerable lower there."
