"This place was perfect for our mid journey stop en route to northern Iceland. It was so cosy and welcoming, with everything catered to. The owner left us some very useful tips about things to do and see nearby. We had an incredible night here as we got to see the aurora in a cloudless sky for hours!!! The seal watching nearby, the next morning was a bonus. "

"The property was right on Route 1. There's a restaurant on the first floor and they have really amazing food. There are lots of places to go to, but you’ll have to drive by the mountains which all had mostly paved roads.The room itself is clean. There's a common room for coffee and tea, and a fridge that can be used. The staff were friendly."

"Karuna is in a very quiet quiet area. There's a vast land and mountain ranges behind the property. There's a beautiful restaurant in the property. There's also a common kitchen, equipped with everything you'll need. Our room was very spacious. It looks like a newly constructed place, or just well maintained. It has a home-y feel. It also has a hot tub and sauna facing the mountains. It's a good place to stargaze and try to find Aurora. Although it was cloudy that night, so no luck for us. We'll definitely go back if I happen to be around the area again."

"The interior of our cottage was comfortable and full of amenities. And what really addedto the vibe was the hot tub in the center of the cottages. No luck with the northern lights due to clouds drifting in, but it was a lot of fun anyway."
