"To be honest, the best thing at this resort is probably the hotel staff. The general condition of the hotel/resort is very poor, very run down. Rust is present everywhere. Abundant falling leaves on the property grounds. Tiles in and around the pools are peeling off. These indicate lack of proper care and maintenance. "Loved the room and the staff. The bed was exceptional. Location was great. The swimming pool was a big disappointment. The water was green and full of bugs swimming in it. I was going for a swim there but decided against it. No other guests visited the pool either when I was there to observe it. Strange to let the pool be such a letdown when the rest is so good. Hope they fix this in the future, but I won’t be returning. If I pay for a pool and a pool is advertised, then I should get it. "
