I enjoyed the Holidays so much; I was sad to leave and return to the U.S. Christmas was special. with decorations, lights, trees everywhere and American Holiday music playing. Christmas Day: I was greeted with a gift from the staff, the pool, sitting area and Cravers was filled to capacity with children playing and of course Santa Claus was there with candy for us kids. "Super clean beautiful hotel. Food was great loved the steakhouse. Buffet was well done. Prices over all were good . Clean room in need of some very minor repairs. Tv not very user fiendly. Coundnt get it interface with my phone to cast movies. "

THE BEST IN EMBU 5*

"The Izaak Walton is just an amazing hotel and a great place to stay you get a very warm welcoming from the front desk staff and all the other hotel staff members too, they all make you feel at home too, the rooms are excellent very clean and spacious great WiFi service too, and the beds are so comfortable. The hotel is set in woodland and has a relaxing setting and calming, the restaurant is brilliant, great buffet breakfast too and a good choice menu for lunch and dinner there's always a waitress or waiter on hand to assist you nothing is any trouble and I got to know them by name because they're so friendly and warm to you, great food and coffee too ,and a well stocked friendly bar to chill in I've stayed in 3 hotels now in Embu but the Izaak is just miles ahead much better and will definitely return, I just want to thank everyone there, too many to mention but you're all amazing lovely people and I'll miss you, thank you.."

"The staff is friendly, welcoming and flexible. The place is cozy - it was just what I was looking for. Very good breakfast, nice green garden, and I felt it was easy to ask for things (for example, I moved rooms to get a better internet connection) and it was no problem. Plus, it's unbelievably affordable. I felt safe, at ease, and rested very comfortably here. Highly recommend."
