"Great staff with great attitude. Probably the worst view I have ever had in a hotel room. Things that didn't work were quickly fixed. Clean, efficient, but nothing special. The 'Panorama' restaurant in the 4-star building felt more like a converted banquet room or a small college dining room. Uninspiring, though the rest of the 4-start property (where we did our check-in and check-out) was attractive. I don't stay much in resort hotels, so I am not be the best judge. "Only stayed 1 night on business but what a place. Quiet location but close to Viveiro. Homecooked food depending on what is growing / farmed locally. 500 years old but extended and beuatifully maintained. Full of character. Beautiful gardens. Manageress was brilliant and very friendly. I would thoroughly recomment a stay there not matter how long. I intend to return next year with my wife for a holiday in the area."

"This place is truly amazing and for the price too. The owner went out of her way to make me feel welcome. Breakfast was vast and well executed. I really do recommend this to travellers in the Foz area. Downside was timing in the year. Quiet in april but that isnt the Pensions fault!"

"We spent only two nights, but after only a couple of hours we felt like being in our best friends home. Manuel and Cristina were fantastic. You can tell that they are really pleased to have you there. The terrace oversees a small river. Nothing like sitting there with a glass of wine listening the water flow. Relax!!!"

"We had a very nice visit with fabulous service. The room was beautiful and the staff were very helpful. We didn’t realize that the restaurant is only open a few days a week, we were on foot and they helped us call out for pizza.
