"Firstly, ignore the map. The camp is 30 mins away by by boat on a side river off the Amazon surrounded by forest. Absolutely perfect location. Also the price includes various excursions depending on how long you stay including dolphin watching, rainforest walks - but not Iquitos. No shop, take everything you need. Camp is basic but food and staff are great. Noone speaks English at camp, if you don't, take a phrase book. We stayed 3 memorable days. Do the nighttime walk!"

I stayed in an economy room, and while I was grateful for the AC, it did tend to leak and create a puddle, so dont leave any valuables under the unit. "I am a biologist and I loved the experience at this lodge. The rooms were comfortable with quality sheets and towels changed daily. The food is excellent and prepared from local jungle resources. The guide spoke good English and was very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna of which we saw lots. We were picked up at the airport and dropped off there afterwards. " While the resort is exactly as it appears-we had a few issues- they charge for items in both US and Soles- very confusing. No wine at the resort?? All of our tours were to be included but they charged us 120 US dollars for the two of us. Not very willing to negotiate. The resort itself was very relaxing and calm.
