"Apart from the leaking aircon unit & non functioning TV everything else was good. The small beach was great as were the staff."

"I spent nine nights there and the place grew on me day by day due to the high quality of service and the people working there. The breakfast was always a highlight and Heather managed the bar very well, even during busy times. All in all this place is a gem and my highlight was waking up on an ocean front room and going for a snorkel before breakfast. I hope to be back sometime soon again! "

"The staff were excellent. Always helpful and cheerful. Hotel is centrally located and easy to access. Stairs are the only access to the upper levels of rooms. The hotel is clean and a good choice for people not wanting the “resort” experience. The rate is moderate. Breakfast was included in our rate. The food is locally inspired and included noodle dishes, various proteins in sauces, rice, fresh fruit, muffins, toast, fruit juice, coffee or tea."

"The property, bungalow and view were all gorgeous and even better than the pictures showed. The breakfasts were delicious, and delivered to your door at your preferred time. Staff were so friendly, kind and helpful. Parking is at the base of a steep hill, but staff are available to transport you and luggage up to your bungalow. Would definitely stay here again. Perfection!"

"Shell Villa is a home away from home. The rooms are large and very comfortable with a sofa and huge soaker bathtub. The staff are very caring and attentive. They go out of their way to ensyou are happy and have everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals. I felt sad to leave because the staff made me ferl like family."

"The driver hired to take me to the hotel was easily seen. Check in was quick and room ready. Any issue with the Room they addressed immediately. The water was warm for the shower. Bed very comfortable lots of places to store your luggage. The fridge and freezer worked well. Walking distance to the museums and souvenir shops. Lots of choices for places to eat and grocery stores. Beach is not walkable."

"The staff were friendly and helpful. I liked using fitness center, and the pool area was very nice and uncrowded. Free transportation to the airport was a real bonus. The onsite restaurant was convenient but just okay for dinner; there are better options around town."

"Check in was very easy and they were kind enough to hold my bags until my proper check in time. The first room I was given had some mold in it and a small hole in the bottom of the wall. They were again very kind and switched me to a different room that was very clean. If you get placed on one side of the hotel though you can hear whatever club it is next door very late into the night unfortunately. "
