"Firstly I have to say that I am totally unaccustomed to leaving negative reviews, but sadly I have to say "don't go" to this, no doubt once very classy, little boutique hotel. Before going any further it is worth mentioning that the staff (we only saw 3!) were lovely, extremely well meaning, and obliging. (We're guessing/deducing, severely let down by an absentee owner). Apart from the staff, the only other attribute was the superb position, overlooking and directly onto the river estuary....

"Can't fault friendliness of staff. However there was no management demonstrated at all. Greeted by bunch of boys in shorts - didn't even seem like staff. English spoken was mostly very limited. Wanting to pay for drink, I asked "how much". After 5 minutes the guy came back with a hammer! The food we had on the first night was actually quite good. But the flies are a big problem. And most things on the menu are not available. After asking for wine, Ginger beer, soda and all not available I...
