"As others have noted this is an older building. It has some quirks such as no outlets in the bathroom-maybe a code issue. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is convenient for restaurants, shopping and the port. Very quiet given it is close to the port and a busy street."

"Beautifully set on the side of a mountain, the property was clean and tidy and located next to a shared pool. Very quiet and the view is amazing. Air conditioning available at an additional cost, but very fair pricing and definitely needed. Shops are close for essentials, and the seafront is around 20 mins downhill.. the walk back up is challenging especially if you've had a few bevvies, but taxis are very much available. Over all, very enjoyable stay and will defo be on my list to visit...

"We had a wonderful stay at the Rafkos mansion. Stelios the owner took us wherever we needed to go and we had delicious meals at one of the local restaurants. It would be wise to have a car because it’s in a village about 30mins. from Heraklion. Stelios is the definition of Greek hospitality! "

"I really enjoyed my time here , I would recommend it to anyone travelling to Heraklion. The rooms are comfortable,and the staff are wonderful, Maria at the front desk is so kind and helpful,but all the staff here have been great! Breakfast is great as well . "

"Location was fantastic and, so close to everything. Staff were very friendly and helpful and room was really comfortable. Only downside was the room we were in, you could hear all the traffic noise outside. We hope to visit again soon."

"It was one of the best all inclusive experience. We booked a room with private pool looking at the beach, not sure whether I get similar views anywhere around. Staffs were patient especially animation team were fantastic and the way they take care our children as their own. We booked in early April, their water parks were not open till April 5th which was disappointing but they kindly arranged a free visit to nearby waterpark for free. Only advice is book in May/June when the adventure clubs are fully open. "
