The Ali Pasha Bridge is located near the beautiful town of Gjirokastra in Albania. You can easily hike there within 30 minutes and you can be pretty sure not to meet any other tourists. The bridge was part of a larger aqueduct complex commissiones in the early 19th century by Ali Pasha of Tepelenë. Tje aqueducts fed the castle's cisterns with water from the Mount Sopot. Gjirokastra didn't have water at this time and Alia Pasha discerned the need of this structure. "We stayed for a few days and enjoyed the place more each day. The staff at the restaurant inside the hotel was very kind and helpful. The hotel is very well built and they have spared no expense to get the best materials. The food is delicious and abundant. Breakfast is included and it is very generous and very high quality food. If you could think of it, they had it. The wood fire pizza was very good. We look forward to returning to Sole Luna in Borsh, Albania again. Shumë faleminderit! "

"Beautifully re-done building, with a very comfortable bed and large room. Meals were excellent as well, and the service was wonderful. The area is very nice with a very nice patio for meals. Very quiet and sturdy place. Great easy walk into town or if you want a nice hike,you can follow the path up to the top of the hill behind the villa for a great view. "
