"The hotel is right downtown, which means you can hear the busy bustle from below even 10 floors up. But the views from the room are nice. "The staff were excellent, helpful and personable. We only had the buffet breakfast during our stay, and there were many choices all well prepared. The room and bed were very comfortable. A few issues - the TV several times turned on by itself, including in the middle of the night, the shower door didn't close completely and leaked onto the mat, and while I was pleasantly surprised to be offered a takeout breakfast for our early departure to the airport, we did not have the tea I remember...

"I had a wonderful time during my 4- night stay at Ubumwe Grand Hotel. Lovely service, comfortable rooms and very pleasant staff. Manzi ( Roof top Restaurant staff) was exceptional. Also the hotel has an amazing roof top view of Kigali both during the day and at night. I would highly recommend Ubumwe Grande Hotel in Kigali to anyone visiting Kigali. They have reliable internet and many power ports. decent enough breakfast and good chai tea. Only slight annoyance is a decent amount of mosquitoes were able to get into the room through the cracks in between the windows. "
