"The hotel was lovely, rooms are newly refurbished and are clean. Beds are comfy and are made up beautifully each day. The beach is nice and right on the hotel front, the security makes it feel very safe to relax on. The only thing I would say is there is always a lot of sellers from the markets who come up to you on the beach constantly. The food was good, especially the Sunday bbq. "The property is well run. The food is delicious. The accommodations are alright; renovations are underway to update the rooms. The staff is spectacular. Every single one of them. The massages by Anna and Haidi were the best my friend and I had ever had, when compared across four continents. They were really impressive. I would go back in a heartbeat. "

"The property was really nice, I especially appreciated the balcony, bathroom and kitchen facilities. That said, what made our stay exceptional was the staff at Forestview. From the front desk, to the security, they were friendly, knowledgable and accomodating. The housekeeping staff were extremley hardworking and very, very thoughtful. They made our stay at Forestside unforgettable and I will definitely be making them my first choice of accomodation when visiting the Gambia in future. Best staff...

"The decore in the rooms are very unique. The downside was the bed, it had a shelf surrounding and being short it made it hard to get in and out of bed. The staff were very friendly. "close to what you see in the photos. Very deceiving. Staff was nice. Our room bathroom smelled like poop, Just fan, no AC, it is a charge to have AC. There were LOTS OF CATS while eating breakfast. Our son was terrified as he doesn’t like cats. "

"A Gem; construction at Kalimba so they rebooked us at the adjacent Kamara resort. Great property: aircon nice and cold, good breakfast offering, tasty food at restaurant. Front desk staff helped in arranging a driver to visit monkey park, crocodile pools, city tour, and car to airport. Would love to go back. Only nit I have is provided toiletries were skimpy"
