It's a little walk up to the medina (say 15 to 20 mins) but that it straight up the beach and so was beautiful in itself. "I think its important to note that this hotel has a five star rating. When you have this rating i think its fair to be critical of things that i would otherwise not comment on. Cons: the pool needed a clean (there was green slime on some of the walls. Some of the matress beds by the pool were covered in bird poo for days on end. Somebody left a plate and coffee mug at the pool bar and it stayed there for days showing nobody was walking round and checking at the pool. A few of the complimentary...

"Great host and wonderful rooms. Everything was clean and nice and owners are very helpful. We stayed for 2 days and we were the only guests during that time, so it was very quite and relaxing. Villa Daba isn't near Essaouira's city centeral, but it is within driving distance. It takes anywhere between 15-25 minutes and it is a nice drive. Breakfast was great. We would stay again. The only issues we had with the property were one the road to the property isn't paved, which isn't noted on...

"Lovely hotel staff very friendly and and try their best to make you comfortable and enjoy the stay with them. The receptionists both guys were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is a short walk to everything very convenient. The top roof was very nice plenty of sun beds and view is wonderful.
