"Not the best nor worst hotel i have stayed in, The room was pretty basic and bed ok. I have stayed in other Lawlors hotels which I found to be better than this. The food in the bar was reasonably priced but not the best quality and i left some of it. it didnt feel welcoming for a business traveller with loud locals shouting and swearing all over the place. I wouldnt stay again I am afraid"

"Lovely hotel and friendly staff. They couldnt do enought for us. Breakfast is a bit manic if you leave it until going about 9.30 (10 O Clock finish) and can be waiting a while for cooked food. A later finish time I think would solve this."

The receptionist was extremely nice, friendly, and informative, which made check-in and my stay even better. The location is very central, making it easy to get around. "Absolutely fantastic hotel staff. We arrived late into the night after the M was shut down because of a bad car crash. They happily opened the kitchen to fix us sandwiches since we were on the road all day Sunday and food was not easy to find after 6 pm. The major issue was the room itself. The furnishings need to be updated. The bed was hard as a rock with little padding and low to the floor. The pillows were thin and provided little support. The towels left lint all over your wet body...
