"AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, AND PEACEFUL! This is an outstanding place for your relaxing vacation! The property is amazing with rainforest going up the hill and a great segment of coastline. Mango Creek only accommodates a few guests at a time (less than 20), so your stay there will be very peaceful. The cabanas on the water are amazing, with comfortable beds and adequate bathrooms. It was super cool to go to sleep to the sound of the water outside! The meals that they cook for you are delicious and perfectly prepared. The owners are extremely accommodating, and they will make you feel welcome right away. They will also help you set up your days' activities, which for my family included snorkeling, kayaking, a boat tour of the mangroves, and fly fishing as well as a day trip to the more commercial West End. One thing to be aware of is that the property truly is 'off-grid': you can't get there by car; it generates its own electricity; and it is far removed from the more touristy parts of the island. In my view, this was a major strength and contributed to this being the most laid-back and peaceful trip I have ever had! "

"This property is obviously a little cost place to stay and my review reflects that. It was absolutely perfect for my needs of a comfortable bed, excellent air conditioning and a low price. I'd happily stay there again but it's not a place I would take my wife on a holiday. The price point that fits her needs is at least two to three times what I paid. The young man who greeted me and took care of my stay was absolutely fantastic!"

"Read all the reviews prior to choosing this home. We have nothing but good things to say about the people and the place. Mabel the House Manager was nothing but kind and attentive. George was also awesome. We are not a very needy couple and we were allowed to be "US." We celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary while there. The natural pool out front was like a mini aquarium and we snorkled. You can venture out further if you like. The view is indeed captivating and you can see the mountains siluette of the mainland on a clear day. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home. It was a blessing to be there. Jim and ang"

"I can’t say enough good things about our stay at Big Rock! From the start communication was easy and fast. We were met at Kristi’s to guide us to the property the first time. Pulling up we were blown away! The pictures do not do it justice! The view, the beach, the pool… everything was perfection! We traveled with our family of 4 (kids 5&7) and another family of 4 (kids 12&9) there was enough space for us to feel connected but have private space. The snorkeling right off the dock was the best we’ve experienced! Pudens, the caretaker, made the trip even better. He was so kind and helpful. He took the time to teach my son how to clean conch and would help them get coconuts. He took us on several boat adventures, telling us all about the island. He helped make one of our best family trips even better! We will definitely be back next year!!"
