"Parking lot was a bit hard to find as there was a large bus parked right in front of where you need to turn. Traveling by car as an American from London, the roads are narrow and lots of one ways. If I had been driving a bit more, most likely wouldn’t have felt a bit overwhelmed. The overall stay was great! "A lovely relatively quiet old manor house, just off the M11. Rooms well insulated for heat, 2 windows didn’t close easily in my room, but other guests seemed to slam them shut. Bed was huge and very comfortable; the bathroom was clean and the domestic staff maintained the room daily. I did drive past a couple of times as i thought the main iron gates were a service entrance, but not. Its a sharp turn into the 'drive' and pull up to the gates which will open automatically.
