"Really nice resort - the only problem is that the hotel rooms aren't always marked clearly so its very difficult to find the room and the front desk staff doesn't have a great map. Once you find your room and get your bearings - the resort is WONDERFUL"

"I arrived on a Thursday, Thanksgiving Day and the beach, although an over cast day, the beach was just wonderful. La Ceiba is not exactly a clean city and beaches are certainly dirty and the sand is the color is pukey brown/grey yet, the view of the Caribbean Sea erased those minor imperfections. The staff of HPB is nice and willing to please. They are not aggressive but genuinely want to assist. Lots of please/thank yous. Coming from Tegus where everyone is sort of rude, this was a nice...

"It is one of the nicer hotels in La Ceiba. However, they have minimal parking in the public street, which can lead to negative interactions with drunks from the restaurant bars that circle the hotel. Do yourselves a favor, Quinta Real, and buy that empty lot behind the hotel and turn it into a parking lot."

"La única queja fuerte que tengo es con respecto a que no tienen bien puesto los nombres de las habitaciones. Yo reserve lo que tienen como VILLA DE MADERA que duermen 5 y a la hora de llegar al hotel me dijieron que tenía que pagar OTRA habitación porque no era VILLA sino que HABITACIÓN. Eso no es correcto cuando uno tiene la confianza y seguridad de hacer las reservas con ustedes"
