"Luca kindly met us at the airport and escorted us to the property. It was as described - spacious, clean and comfortable. Francesca had left a welcome food pack and a bottle of wine which was most appreciated as we arrived late at night. The property was private and secure, yet within walking distance to shops. Internet access was good although limited if streaming. Linen and towels were changed weekly but access to a washing machine would have been useful for laundering clothes. Any queries...

"Vincent, Anna his mother were so nice. They did have a washer but no dryer. Breakfast was great. Coffee and tea was available 24 hrs. The vies were incredible a bit of of a challenge to locate because it is next to the main residence. Loved the space very clean safe and handicappable access no issues. We did ask for fresh towels but with the language they did not arrive "

"The host family is kind and generous. They worked very hard to make us feel welcome. Our room was lovely with twin beds made up as a king; it had a bunk bed that we did not use. As in most of the places we stayed, wifi was slow; I used my cell phone data instead. Their breakfast was wonderful, with way too much delicious food, served in a lovely setting."

"My husband and I spent five wonderful days at Il Giardino del Rio and enjoyed every moment. The room was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect for short walks through Castel di Sangro, or for drives through the gorgeous Parco Nazionale d’Abruzzo and its scenic towns. The best thing about the inn, however? Proprietors Davide and Enzo, and Adnan. Each one made us feel like family. We already miss them!"
