"It was a family getaway, me and two of my grown “kids”. We don’t get to see each other enough. The Cabin was the perfect place for the three of us; cozy and comfortable. We really enjoyed taking turns cooking on the vintage stove/oven and spending time together around the campfire and exploring the area.It had rained quite a bit before we arrived and the river was too high to fish. No problem; other things to do. Some nice hiking trails nearby. The School House, the Downsville Diner and Danny’s in Walton and really good places to eat.We brought a couple of acoustic guitars for some laid back tunes. The time flew by. We came for some fishing, but didn’t miss it. Thanks for having us"

"We were 3 families coming from different places to meet up. We had 5 kids from 1-16 yo and 6 adults. We had plenty of room to spread out so that we all had quiet and privacy. There was also so much to do o. The property. We used the boats, had outdoor fires, played games inside. Just a great stay for everyone. I would highly recommend this as a great weekend retreat for a group. "
