Muted colour grace the ID peppered with Batik elements and sympathetic art works streaming to the bedrooms. The pool in the podium block is breath taking in quiet intimacy with the landscape, bringing you away from the madding crowds. "Our stay at Manohara Hotel was amazing from start to finish. Nandy and Lili provided exceptional customer service, upgrading our room to VIP, which was such a thoughtful touch. The rooftop pool was a definite highlight—relaxing with stunning views of the city. The bedrooms were spotless, the AC was powerful, and everything felt fresh and comfortable. Breakfast each morning was a treat with a lovely mix of local and international dishes. The variety and quality were top-notch. Overall, the combination of great amenities, attentive staff, and a welcoming atmosphere made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommend it!"

"Hotel was clean. Our room was very clean, and comfortable. We stayed for three days because it was clean. Great breakfast options. In parts like the edges of the dining area the carpet was ripped and the hotel is a bit on the older side. Needs more maintenance. But otherwise our room was clean and enjoyed our stay. "

"Visiting Yogyakarta for the first time, I decided to stay at the Royal Ambarrukmo. I am glad I picked this hotel as it was a very comfortable stay with many great amenities. I utilized their fitness area, which had many options for weight training with the machines they had, including dumbbells. The staff was terrific, and I would say one of the best parts of my stay was the breakfast. Never have I seen so many options in a breakfast buffet. I maybe tried a tenth of what they had to offer, and I didn’t have room to try anymore. Make sure you don’t miss the breakfast to get your day started."

"The hotel needs to update its facilities because it is already too old. It does not live up to it’s 4-star hotel status. We booked it hoping that we will have a wonderful experience in a 4-star hotel, but we were very disappointed with the quality of room we had. They need to upgrade the hotel and compete with other 4-star hotels in the city."
