"We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. I was with a family of 5, and none of us had ever rowed a boat a day in our lives. Had i known this upfront i would never have booked this lodge. THIS ROOM IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE WITH...

The location was great as we could walk into centre to enjoy seeing the sights, yet return in evening to a beautifully quiet location. "This property has 2 rentals next to each other. Carola and Joris are very approachable and wonderful hosts. They want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Each unit is newly renovated and comfortable for 1-2 people to stay in. It is conveniently located near the Maxima Park, shops and lots of beautiful bike and walking paths. Next to the property is a large farm - which has a great store with fresh, local foods open on Thu-Sat. The area is very safe and friendly. Parking is free....

"What a wonderful apartment! Central location with easy access to shops and restaurants as well as easy access to the Floriade. Apartment was clean and well equipped with linens, soaps, and kitchen supplies. Amsterdam and the airport are but a short train ride away. Paul was a great host, even taking us for a tour of Almere’s canals. Check in and out was a breeze. We highly recommend this apartment to others."

"I cannot say enough good things about my stay here! Isabel is such an incredible host and kept in communication with me during my entire stay to make sure I was comfortable. Bussum is such a beautiful, quiet little town that was a perfect escape from the hustle of Amsterdam, while still being close enough to everything and incredibly accessible by train.
