"Our group of longtime friends chose the Sassy Peach Cottage as our destination this fall. The property was so well situated within the village, and it fit all of us with ease. We had three young children with us, and they absolutely loved the pool, the games and puzzles available for us to use, and the spiral staircase! If we return to St. Simon's in the future, we'll return to the Sassy Peach as well."

"We ended up with five women all going to a convention on Jekyll Island. We stayed on St Simons because they have better restaurants and amenities. This house was perfect for us. We we’re all able to pile up on the couch and watch the Georgia Bulldogs game Saturday night. We felt like we were at home. Beautiful big house. Great location."

"Overall it was so quiet and peaceful. Only negative was the front porch light, Laundry light and outside yard lights did not work. I think bulbs needing changing, the ceiling fans had dust on them and there was a huge spill in one of the kitchen cabinets where someone spilled something on the island. Overall would most defiantly stay here again. "

"This lovely property is even better than the photos. The house is spotless, well cared for, and has all the amenities you could ask for. The hosts were so quick to answer when we had questions, and the check in and check out process was so smooth. Several things to note - there are stairs, however, they were easy to navigate and are very sturdy. This is it's own house, but there are neighbors - our experience was SO QUIET - no noise within the house at all! The porches are absolutely lovely. ...

"Stayed in this house last year and loved it. This year it is evident that house needs some TLC, such as grout broken in shower, dusty ceiling fans and bathroom vents, and roaches in the kitchen cabinets. Please put out some bait and remedy this problem."

"One of the best places to stay on Jekyll in my opinion. Really appreciate the gas stove top, though the oven is electric, or so it seems. The one thing is that the floors are clean but it is also still sticky at the same time. But to be fair, almost 90% of the rentals we stay at (not just jekyll but everywhere) have this problem. Its like they not changing out the mop water often enough and using the dirty water to clean with. But again the floors was clean but just slight stickyness with...

"We stay in SSI every other Thanksgiving and as our family has grown, we have tried different locations. The Village Sea House was our favorite so far! From the fantastic location, spacious house layout, beautiful pool and yard, to the two included golf carts, it was perfect for our family of 10. Communication with the host and the property manager was excellent. We experienced some issues with the washer/dryer and found the first level bedroom and bed was not as comfortable as hoped, but...

"The property on College St. was perfect! The house was cuter in person than it was in pics! It was clean, beautifully decorated, and had an adorable layout. We also really enjoyed the grill and the fenced-in yard. We would definitely stay here again…HAPPILY!"
