"Loved our one night stay here. Wish it had been two. Our suite was absolutely beautiful with one of the most comfortable beds of our month long Portugal travels. We had dinner at the on site restaurant and the food and service were both excellent. Only suggestion is to have salt and pepper shakers rather than the paper packets. Next time I'm any where near this hotel, I will be staying here."

"It’s all about the location at the top of a mountain overlooking a jewel box of a church. This grand hotel was built in the early 1900’s. It has been renovated but is definitely an older property. Room was comfortable and the view was AMAZING. Breakfast was wonderful. "

"The hospitality and attention to detail from staff from start to finish exceeded our expectations. The hotel is located right in the center of the city - everything within walking distance. Rooms were very clean and the breakfast was amazing. We will definitely be returning! "

"Overall 5 stars but I do want to give a few pointers… if you get there after dark know that the parking will be before you reach the actual hotel building. It’s dark so it will be a little challenging for you to recognize. Once you find the parking it will be super easy. Make sure you get the gate code, room number, and all the check in instructions after you book the reservation because this hotel is self contained which means there will not be a person checking you in. The whole hotel seems brand new. Very clean. Bedroom and bathroom is very small but enough for a short stay. Bed is very comfortable and breakfast has everything you need for a good start of your day! I would recommend this place and would stay there again for sure! "

"Easy hotel to locate and park. A very warm welcome from the host with all procedures well explained. This hotel has an elevator to take bags up to rooms. Rooms are compact but comfortable and clean. Bathroom is a good size and works well. We slept very well and ate a lovely continental breakfast each morning with espresso coffees. We certainly enjoyed our stay and are considering a return stay. Excellent value for your Euro and a worthwhile stay. Thank you Robert. "
