Delayed check-in while manager was at lunch. They didn't have a printer so asked me to print out my confirmation at a shop down the road - what hotel doesn't have a printer?!? No wi-Fi in room. Bed very uncomfortable - I ended up stacking one mattress on top of the other. Shirts dirty. No hot water. Incredibly noisy guests that were drunk returning late made sleeping difficult.

That special something
Like many low-rate hotels in India, this one offers toilet paper only on request, but it has hot water. The breakfast, in the name of an omelet, was a couple of eggs someone flattened and fried and laid over a slice of dry white bread with three other slices leaning on a side of that. When I requested orange juice, the guy who brought me the breakfast in a little place behind and below the front desk told me he had none, but he brought me a little mango juice box as I was returning to my room. And a guy knocked on the door of my room to sell me tours, but imagine the pleasure of a hot shower, after a week in India without one. I was so grateful I bought a roll of toilet paper, in the nearby Big Apple convenience store, for my future travel. HITRT

Not great value compared what
Not great value compared what you get elsewhere in India for the same money, but it's in Delhi, so...
What I really disliked was when the travel agency (works together with the hotel) worker who came to pick me up from the airport started to advertise their free shuttle service to Connaught Place where there is the notorious tourist information service (actually dozens of them - all of them fake) when I told him that I was going to buy train ticket from New Delhi trainway stations tourist bureau. And this after I had told him I had been twice before in India and several times In Delhi!
