After staying at a few hotels (around this price range), I started to think that things like some soapscum in the bathroom, water damage spots in the ceiling, and floors that weren't swept/vacuumed between guests was just par for the course in Delhi. This hotel, though, was different. It was surprisingly clean and comfortable. The windows in the bathroom showed a bit of wear and tear, but aside from that, it was obvious that the staff make everything as spotless as possible before your arrival. Its a very nice feeling to come back from a long day on the Delhi streets, and wash 16 hours worth of street grime and dust in a pristine shower and lay in a comfortable bed with fresh sheets. Hotel staff was very nice as well, though the room service is a bit dodgy. Note: Milk shake does NOT mean what you think it means. I more or less got chocolate milk. Your best best bet is to get food from a nearby restaurant and bring it back if you want to eat in. Ban-Zai across the street was delicious. Also, hotel is a 5 minute walk away from the metro, which is nice because walking around Karol Bagh is a bit of a pain with potholes, piles of dirt, ravines cutting through the asphalt, and driving is even more of a headache. Overall, best place I've stayed in Delhi for the price. Great staff, and clean rooms. Can't go wrong.
