"My daughter and I had a pleasant stay at Hotel de Plataan. Our twin room had a nature-inspired theme and we felt very relaxed in there. The heating in our room was not working during our 4-night stay, which was reported. A duty manager came to investigate it but the heating still didnt work during our stay. "Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful hotel. Very clean. Amenities could improve. There was no hand soap provided, toilettries nor bottle of water, etc. "

"Very convenient to the town square and shopping/dining venues. Located on a canal. Tended to be noisy during the night. Difficult to get luggage upstairs without elevator. Help was not offered when checking in. Lighting is dim. All this being said we would stay here again as the location makes up for negatives "
