"Beautiful old hotel. Restaurant meals were great & reasonably priced. My room was large, bed comfortable, hugh bathroom with bathtub & separate shower. Only issue was the hum from aircon unit outside my window, but after a wine, or two, this was no problem. But if you are a light sleeper request a room away from street & external aircon units. Will stay again as it really is a special place."

"Stayed here for 3 nights with my husband and 2 teenagers. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our King size bed was comfortable but there were bunks for our kids that weren’t so comfortable, maybe I should have asked for 2 single beds. Found the location great with access to Sovereign hill via a separate entrance, so can come and go during the day you visit Sovereign Hill.
