The room was comfortable but needs updating Beds were comfortable, except the pillows were a bit flat and no extra ones were in the room, not a big deal in the whole skeem of things. Value for money though. It does need a good make over but you get what you pay for. I would stay there again. "

"This property far exceeded our expectations. Historic property with plenty to do onsite. Paddle boats on the lake, electric bikes, playground, indoor heated pool, games, vege garden/ fruit trees to help yourself. The apartment we had slept 4 with good kitchen facilities and living space. Huge bedrooms! Little booklet with a short history of the property was a nice touch. The only thing id change would be an update to the mattress which was far to soft and for the soft furnishings to be...

"Good location, everything I needed. I stayed in a studio near the lifts and it felt a little bit like living in a fish bowl - open for all to see but once I got over that it was fine. Very good value."
