"Perfect little getaway that gives you the cabin feel while still being near stores and such. Stayed for 2 nights but wanted to stay longer! Check in was easy. Since it was good weather we were able to park right in front of the cabin. The fire pit was great (we grilled vegetarian sausage and s'mores over the fire)! The hosts were easy to get a hold of if needed. Bathroom facility, while in the basement of the main house, is close, easy to get to, and great! The sheep, goat, and chickens...

"We loved this place and property. We stayed in the area to hike around CVNP and it was perfect. We got lucky and did not have any one else staying near the adjacent properties. We were able to see deer, turkeys, hawks, and a giant possum walking around the rental. The back porch was perfect to watch the sunrise while drinking a cup of coffee. It was unclear in the listing that this was connected to another unit and I was glad that it was not rented at the time of our stay. "This Lake House is very nice. The online description is very accurate. It sits up on a bluff and provides a great relaxing view of the lake. We found the house very clean and well stocked with all the basics you need in the kitchen, bathrooms. bedrooms etc. We enjoyed kayaking and fishing from the private pier. Chairs for relaxing outside are provided along with a gas grill and picnic table. We will defiantly consider renting again. "

"The view is stunning. We watched the sunrise multiple times on their deck overlooking the lake and I never wanted to leave. Even sitting inside I couldn’t stop looking out at the view. We hope to come back every year. We were fortunate to have great weather and just relaxed and floated around in the lake. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely with kind and pleasant neighbors. We grilled out on their large grill and got takeout from nearby restaurants for our supper and lunches we got groceries...
