"This is an amazing home. For us the location is ideal. We found enjoyable things to do in four nearby towns. We had a large extended family gathering to celebrate several anniversaries and birthdays. Florida, Minnesota, Wisconsin and North Dakota were all represented. "This place was so cute. We rented the Madison and Emery and there was enough room for 8 adults and some dogs. We loved exploring Amery, WI - hiking, getting ice cream in town, and home decor shopping. They have plenty of firewood which was nice to make a campfire with a few times. Very quiet area & owners were accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend!! We had a blast. Thanks again! "

"Stayed 3 nights during holiday season with kids and grandchildren. Everyone loved the cozy feel to the cabin. Beds were comfy. Kitchen great for lots of cooking with family. Fireplace was awesome! Close to Trollhaugen for tubing and skiing. "

"This location on Balsam Lake was great. The host was very good at communication. Cabin is right in the lake. Has a nice dock for a boat. And this Cabin is 5 minutes from downtown Balsam that has great bars, restaurants and a newer brewery. My wife and twin 13 year old kids had a great time. The cabin is well equipped with dishes and cooking utensils. We will stay again!"

"Overall good bones and basics. Great host Britany, very responsive and cooperative. A fair amount of deferred maintenance at the property, faint occasional whiff of dead mice (coming up from basement owners area). Relatively small stuff like burned out bulb in oven, very slow draining tub/shower, missing some basic utensils like carrot peeler, no ice cube trays, refrigerator missing obviously broken pieces. Two propane grills in poor condition (but no charcoal grill) and a note that guests...
