It is very hard to get to by public transport if you are hoping to explore lake como but we were picked up from the station and lent bicycles for our stay which was so helpful and made a really nice addition to our holiday (we definitely felt silly for not researching the transport enough before). "B&B Ca' Viro was a truly great find. We arrived by bus (from Sondrio train station) which dropped us right outside the front door - all for the measly sum of €2 each. Our room was wonderful and better than expected. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was excellent. The grounds are a sight to see and our room was only 50 metres from a path along the river which provided some great walks. Breakfast the nect morning was amazing!! I contacted the hotel to ask whether we could store our luggage before we checked in, as we didn't want to carry them all day around the towns in Lake Como. Francesca not only allowed us to store the bags in our room early, but also gave us the key as the room was ready by 9:30am. "Das Maloja Clubhose liegt unabhängig hinter dem grossen Palace Hotel. Wir fühlten uns frei und wie zu Hause. Das Zimmer im Clubhouse ist zwar eher klein, doch hat es alles, was man sich wünschen kann, auch einen Wasserkocher. Unten im Saal vom Clubhouse fanden wir immer frische Früchte.
