"The property is in a convenient location and had everything we needed for a short stay. We had a number of unexpected guests--ants in our luggage--but it appeared that they were already aware of the issue and attempting to fix it."

Loved to read about the history of this place. Street noise is a minor nuisance but a noise machine solved that at night. We would stay again. "

"The house was absolutely perfect for us. Cute cozy and comfy all the important C's. There was a bit of dog hair that I wasn't expecting but nothing major... She thought of so many essentials in case we forgot something. The location was amazing!! We walked to downtown Hillsboro and it was close to so many other restaurants and things to do. "

And its location can't be beat - just a short walk to downtown Carlton, an easy drive to McMinnville, and convenient access to everything that Willamette Valley wine country has to offer. I can't wait to return to Ruth's Cottage!"

"My husband and I stayed in McMinnville, arriving on a very cold evening. I wondered if the home could be warm enough because it is wonderfully spacious. We were toasty and comfortable all night. "The home was exactly as I saw it advertised online. It had everything we needed for a 3 day trip to wine country. The location was great! A 15min drive in all directions got us everywhere we needed to be. We couldn’t get the TV to work and of course it was later in the evening …. But the owners were VERY responsive and helped us figure it out that night. Beds were super comfy and a huge plus they were KINGS! We loved it and will for sure stay again."

Newberg, and its wine country, is a beautiful place with amazing wineries.The home has all the amenities that you would need for your stay. The decor makes you feel right at home. It’s a great rental house for a family, or two to three couples. The views were beautiful. "

"This was a gathering of grandparents, parents, two young grandchildren, and a little dog. The house accommodated all of us. Location was great for walking downtown, and checking out various holiday events. A positive experience for all involved."

"The house was great and had everything thay we needed for the week we were there. It was lovely being so close to the park! My only complaint was the main road the bordered the backyard; it was very noisy in the wee hours of the morning. Otherwise it's a great place to stay!"
