"This house has an excellent location on a great beach! We spent more time at this beach than any other because it was easy to walk to the house when you needed something. The beach was not crowded, calm, and beautiful. The water is very clear and the area in front of the house is very sandy and good for swimming. The house has a great set up for bedrooms and bathrooms, each room having it's own bathroom and shower is so nice. It's a spacious house and has everything you need. Our one disappointment was that the hot tub was not working, and looks like it hasn't been for awhile. There are definitely updates that need to be done to the house, but they don't get in the way of enjoying the wonderful spaces. We spent our mornings on the pool deck watching the sunrise over the ocean, down to the beach during the day, and back to the pool area to eat dinner, play cards, and watch the stars at night. "

"We stayed for 15 nights at this well-equipped condo and were very pleased with our stay. Alex was extremely helpful, responsive, and easy to communicate with. The staff at the property office were very accommodating. Our arrival was later than expected, but they waited for us and helped with our luggage.The condo is well-equipped, everything works perfectly, and we had no issues at all. The views from the balcony and rooms are absolutely amazing. The balcony gets some morning sunshine but stays shady and cool in the afternoon, which is perfect. Be sure to watch the sunrise from the balcony!The listing and photos accurately reflect the property. In addition to the items mentioned in the listing, we especially appreciated the ice maker, filtered water, and the beach chairs and umbrella provided in the unit.The property grounds are well maintained, clean, and beautifully landscaped. The pool is clean, quiet, and large enough for swimming laps. The gym is well-equipped and very pleasant. The guest laundry has both a washer and dryer, which are free to use and never busy. The beach is just a five-minute walk from the property through the Marriott.Overall, we are very happy with our stay! Thank you, Alex! We’ll definitely come back to this place if we visit Sint Maarten again and will recommend it to our friends."

"We had an amazing stay at Villa Valhalla! Daphne, the property manager answered all of our questions and created a helpful information package that helped us make the most of our visit. The house and its location are absolutely breathtaking. Our group of 10 people (3 families) couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Even though our flight was delayed, meaning we didn’t arrive until around 8:30 PM, Catherine, the lovely housekeeper, was there waiting at the community security gate to guide us to the house and give us a tour. When we opened the doors and saw the ocean shimmering in the moonlight before us, we were completely in awe. Catherine had thoughtfully prepared a generous welcome basket with snacks and a bottle of wine, which was such a nice touch. The house was impeccably clean and well-maintained, and it felt so comfortable, like home. We ended up cooking most of our dinners at the house so we could enjoy the incredible views, pool, and hot tub. Homere, the pool and garden manager, was friendly, quiet, and very respectful. Pierre, the house manager, stopped by the day after we arrived to check in and make sure everything was going well. We went on a Kayak tour to Pinel Island one day and when we returned, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the house and our rooms had been refreshed with clean towels. What a thoughtful touch! The walk to Dawn Beach is a short stroll downhill, and we were on the beach within minutes. We wholeheartedly recommend Villa Valhalla"
