"It was a very good stay, with a real sense of luxury throughout, including the restaurant. The team looked after me well, and I made use of the gym, which was impressive for a hotel. I would definitely stay there again."

I was unable to receive a key card and had to be escorted to my room, with all re-entry requiring coordination with the front desk, which was quite inconvenient. The lobby also had a persistent unpleasant odor throughout my visit. Additionally, the night manager was not particularly helpful or knowledgeable in addressing these concerns."

"Completely adequate property for a short stay. Generally as described. Welcoming, quiet, safe and comfortable enough. It could benefit from some attention to some details - most pressing for me would be a new mattress in the back bedroom. We felt springs and were not really comfortable! The boiler is also in this bedroom which creates noise, but not a major problem. Host company was good at communicating and check-in/out was a breeze. Location was great with plenty of local amenities including a pub. Parking was no issue. "
