"It was a convenient stay as we were visiting an elderly relative in Southport. My wife was a bit uncomfortable in bed saying it had some lumps in the mattress. She was unable to have a shower as all the hotel rooms only have a shower over the bath and she cannot climb over the edge. From a safety point of view there was no handrail for the shower on the wall. We will not be staying there again."

"Rooms were very nice. Mini fridge in your room and help yourself area in the corridor that had plenty of snacks and breakfast items. I was in room one, felt like it had been recently renovated, or they keep a room very well. Booking in and checking out is easy. Would stay again. Pub is also great. "

"This property was perfect for our needs, working at a conference in the city. We arrived 9pm and left early both days, so just needed a place to sleep. Private carpark round the rear of property. Close to metro (tram) stop and an easy 20 minutes by car from the city centre (less for Salford Quays or Old Trafford). Apart from check-in we never saw anyone during our weekend stay. Host was contactable by mobile if we needed (which we didn't). Self service breakfast provided (cereals) as under new...
