"This is a beautiful, contemporary cabin set at the end of a one lane gravel road at the top of a mountain. The views are wonderful. The cabin is very comfortable and the bed sleeps great! You have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. It is very quiet and dark at night. I was able to photograph the Milky Way from the balcony of the cabin! If you want a quiet get away close to New River Gorge National Park, this is a great place to escape to."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Highland Manor. We were a group of early-40s professionals from the DC area and New River Gorge was our "friends trip" this year. It was awesome! Highland Manor is located very conveniently in Oak Hill, which is surprisingly walkable - we loved how close the grocery store was when we realized we'd forgotten to bring some spices for chili. There's a pleasant rails-to-trails walking/cycling path very nearby which was great to get a little bit of exercise while away...

"Location is seconds from the freeway and easy access to all the gorge has to offer. The hottub and sauna were nice touches. The house itself has plenty of comfortable beds. Three separate full baths. Suited our groups needs perfectly. "

"My husband and I had a 4 day weekend for Veterans day. We decided to take the Bridge Walk and explore some of the old coal towns in Nutallburg and Therman."

"Our group of 5 adults really enjoyed our stay. Centrally located for the sites we wanted to see, restaurants, convenience store, gas, all right there. The 5th bedroom advertised only had a crib but we made due. 3 story house, plenty of stairs obviously, railings could use some tlc but that's about it. Property was spotless and comfortable; our group would definitely stay here again. "
