"We had a lovely stay, the location is great, nice amenities, extremely clean and well maintained property. We will definitely be back."

"The yurt was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the wood burning stove almost every night, played lots of puzzles and games, and enjoyed sightseeing in the area. We would have enjoyed getting to know the sheep and chickens a little (we were visited regularly by two handsome black kitties), but alas we couldn't find a time. Next time!"

"If you are looking for a secluded getaway but still close to the nearest attractions this is the place. We had a wonderful stay. The host is attentive to all your needs. The cabin has everything you need."

"The location is amazing and as described. However, upon arrival hours past check-in the host didn't know I was coming and had yet to provide check-in info. Luca, the host, said she needed 15 minutes to ready things in addition to the "uh, who are you?" greeting. During my stay there were multiple impolite interactions. My favorite was that I needed to drive to town to get dry firewood to run the only source of heat, the wood stove."

"This is one of those properties we probably shouldn't be reviewing to keep it our little secret, but as helping others is one of our core principles... well, here we are. Scottland Yard is a dream getaway for anyone who wants to experience the perfect mix of farm life and luxury - yes, apparently this is possible. "Perfect cabin close to a bunch of New Yorks state parks, very clean with a nice large kitchen tons of room for my my eife and I and our 3 kids, the single beds are all in an open loft which just meant we had to keep it quiet once the kids went to bed. Our only complaint were the king and queen beds squeak a lot, like just rolling around in your sleep they are noisy. So if we stayed more then 2 nights I could see that being an issue but otherwise we’d live to go back for another weekend and do...

"We loved this property! Close enough to Ithaca and the hikes we wanted to do. House is even nicer than pictured! Beautiful patio area where we enjoyed coffee in the morning and a firepit each night. House was super clean. Owner responded to questions quickly. No negatives to report!"

"The house was very clean & welcoming. Living area was compact but comfortable & had everything we needed. The loft is spacious, and there's a table up there for puzzles & games. It's open to the living space, but there's a curtain for privacy. We enjoyed exploring the walking trails. Remote location but only about 20 min to Ithaca. Wish we had more time! "

"We stayed in this wonderful rustic hunting lodge with a group of 7 adults. Pete and Sherry were attentive hosts and the house had everything we needed. Plenty of room. Located about 30 minutes from Ithica, it’s on 30 acres so very private. The memorabilia from 30 years of hunting expeditions and events held at their event hall were very cool. We’d definitely recommend and stay again."

You can tell every log was cut by hand with little personal touches added here and there over the years . It has Everything ya need and nothin ya don't. Its perfect. Beth and Chris we're extremely helpful with everything from check-in instructions to answering any questions I had and even giving me a history of the cabin upon check out. Five stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
