"The cottage is located just over a mile from the A811 to Drymen. Be careful at the junction a road mirror for exiting would be useful, and is about 2 miles from Drymen which is a lovely village with good places to eat and drink. During July and August a pipe band plays on the village green on a Thursday evening. The cottage is surrounded by fields containing free range chickens and pigs and there was a small hen house in the cottage garden. Sadly during our visit the hens were on go slow and we...

"There was a Christmas tree and decorations which made the house feel quite festive. The house was very comfortable and warm with plenty of space for the family of 5 adults and a dog. The facilities were a bit mixed - The living room tv was not working but this was sorted quite quickly. The kitchen is great to cook in but could do with another fridge or wine cooler as only a standard under worktop one provided. Not quite enough for lots of food and drinks. Our host was quick to respond to a very minor issue that was rectified the same day. The cottage is on a beautiful property, loved watching the cows walk by the fence line. We would love to return!"
