"I have stayed at Yaas several times for work. It is perfect for what it is - a dorm room-size hotel room with the bare bones for people who need a place to crash and get breakfast. Staff is just lovely. I'd go back there just for them. They can also help with airport transport. I have however noticed that the infrastructure could use a facelift. Still I would go back. A good value in a lovely quartier - my favorite in Dakar with its dining options by the sea."

Several times when I ordered, I had to wait an extended period. However, I observed other guests arriving promptly after receiving their food. One night, it was cool as I sat outside and requested a blanket. When I ordered my food, the server did not come to check to see if I was pleased with the service.
