"What a gem - from the outside, absolutely nothing special, but inside a delight. Fairly compact room but the high ceiling made it feel spacious. Very clean and an excellent shower. Friendly welcome, despite our limited French and the staff member's limited English - also very helpful in explaining the Sunday parking tariff outside the hotel. Good breakfast too. Definitely worth considering if you're looking for a stay in Lens."

"We chose this property because of its proximity to the A26 as we had an early Euro Shuttle the next morning. The owner is absolutely delightful and fluent in English, Spanish & German. Our family room was very elegant and comfortable with beautiful bed linen and towels. We had the family room and this was very comfortable and spacious with 2 teenage daughters. The owner shared some interesting facts about how his street was named after one of France’s most famous poets and we got to know more...

"This is an extremely comfortable B&B in lovely green surroundings/gardens. Extremely quiet. Comfortable bed and armchair to relax in. It is a large room; actually two rooms each with a queen bed. We were on our own but it could accommodate a couple with an older child or 3 adults. Might be a bit crowded for 4 adults. The bathroom is also large and modern with a great walk in shower. "Fabulous B&B. Warm welcome from Remi the two children and Lisa the dog. Communal kitchen / breakfast room, super bedroom and brilliant bathroom. Just outside the kitchen /breakfast area is a patio leading onto a lovely grassed area. You can visit the goats, chicken, geese and rabbits at the back if you want to. I did, loved it!! Breakfast the next morning at whatever time you like! Brought over to us by Cindy, Remis wife. "
