"We throughly enjoyed our three nights in Anke's cottage. It provided a great base to explore Strasbourg and the Alsace region. The cottage itself is cozy and enchanting, located on the grounds of a larger chatelet. Anke and her husband Eric were welcoming and friendly. I definitely recommend!"

"Mein Mann und ich waren für ein paar ruhige Tage mit unserer kleinen Hündin in dem süßen kleinen Ferienhaus zu Besuch. Wir wollten mal in Ruhe abschalten, lesen und relaxen. Es war perfekt!! Noch nie hatten wir eine solche Einweisung und liebevoll bis ins kleinste Detail ausgearbeitete Informationen zum Haus und allen Möglichkeiten. "Un gîte cosy très agréable pour toute la famille. Nous sommes venus y passer Noël : le sapin était fait et une jolie crèche mise en scène complétait la décoration. Des voisins de bon conseil nous ont permis de trouver de bons petits plats chez les commerçants du coin. La proximité de la belle ville d’Obernai est également un atout. Un bien joli séjour, à renouveler dès que possible…"

"The gite was tastefully decorated and had all the equipment you need. We visited in a heat wave and the gite was nice and cool and a has a huge bathroom / walk in shower. Lovely terrace outside which gives privacy from neighbours. Matthieu lives opposite and was on hand for anything we needed but not at all intrusive. Also lots of lovely forests nearby to walk or cycle in and it's near enough to the German border to easily have a day in Germany."

Vom Haus aus ist man gleich im Wald oder auf Wiesen. Lydia Kommer ist eine sehr herzliche, aufmerksame und sympathische Gastgeberin. "Clean and well-equipped for a family vacation. Located in a quiet, charming village close to Strasbourg (about 35 minutes from the park and ride). The village restaurant, within walking distance from the property, was also a great place to eat (note: closed on Mondays and Tuesdays). The host was helpful and knowledgeable about the area."

"We loved everything about our stay this week - the house was decorated so sweetly and they even had a Christmas tree up! The location was perfect, not far to Strasbourg at all - and it’s in the cutest little town.We have been spoiled by the towel warmers in the bathrooms and the super comfortable beds. The hosts gave us several suggestions on where to go/eat and even let us practice speaking French with them (sorry!). We will definitely be coming back to stay here again, would love to see the...

"Really nice location with a great view. Some utilities upgrade would be welcomed - iron board but no iron. No large knives, just three tiny ones to cut (good luck with Watermon). Swimming pool amazing and clean. Pascale very welcoming. Badminton racquets could also be replaced, as all had snapped strings. Not too far away from Vin de Alsace route - half an hour drive.."

"Het huisje is ruim, schoon en heel volledig en de tuin ook heel verzorgd. De eigenaresse zorgde voor een heel fijn welkom en verblijf en alles was goed geregeld. De omgeving is prachtig, wel wat afgelegen."

"This property lacks nothing - spacious, comfortable with everything you could ever need for a fabulous stay. The views of the deer each morning are delightful and Twix and Bounty (sheep which look like goats in the field) are lovely and will delight your children. "Marguerite was a wonderful host and her house and garden are beautiful. There is plenty of room for a couple to relax. The lounge has two big sofas, nice lights and satellite TV. The kitchen is well-equipped, with a new oven and lots of pans and cutlery. The bedroom is comfortable and the shower is easy to use. We also appreciated the washing machine and iron.
