"It is the oldest private game preserve, and it shows. Wrinkled pictures in frames filled with dead bugs, the yard needs a serious clean. That being said the bar/dinner area is quite lovely. Game drive vehicles are ancient. (One hour drive is R450, which seems really steep). I stayed at one of the ‘chalets’. As basic as it gets. "We stayed 2 nights in the village. The suite was perfect for our needs and it is located in a lovely community space. But the check in was challenging. I received two different codes for the lockbox, before realizing I was using the wrong one. There was no instruction for internet and although we finally manage to connect after locating rhe router behind the tv, the connection was very poor. So overall a great place but guest management could be better."
