"As described in the other reviews, well equipped and a good size house. The free range eggs being collected daily was a good bonus. Good size lake on site for fishing. Pool was good and so was the hot tub. Not a bad location, exactly what we were looking for deep in the French countryside. Philippe was very helpful, spoke good English, seen to the pool every few days and was there for any questions at their other property a few hundred metres away without being invasive at all. The only downside...

"This was a pleasant surprise and I don’t think the pictures or description did it justice. We stayed with my Parents-in-law and the Annex worked perfectly to give them space. Kids loved the pool and the hot tub was a nice addition. Daglan is a lovely village to be close too as well."

"Fantastic 2 weeks in a lovely house, glorious outside area including super-pool. Great location for lots of trips out with the kids, including canoeing, aquapark, pedalo, zoo, caves, tree climbing and of course the local château’s. "

"Visiting the area my fiancé spent her childhood summers and the house is a 4min drive from the town center with beautiful views across the valley and wooded areas. Nice and peaceful but still local to the town and amenities. Pool and outdoor areas are perfect for lazy days and evenings and the house (old school) is quirky, rustic and lovely with all that you could need. Host was excellent with information required and directions to find the house. Thank you for letting us stay"

"Beautiful setting, right in the centre of Daglan. Its such a quite location and the hosts were lovely too, making us feel very welcome. We were so pleased to find this accommodation and would happily return."

"Sadly the pool was is need of substantial repair. The cracked slabs and crumbling cement around the pool was dangerous for bare feet and attracted wasps to nest. Not ideal for young children and babies. There was a constant bad smell in the kitchen due to drainage problems in the area of the sink. The setting is idyllic and very peaceful in amongst the forest but we got bitten alive with all the woodland mosquitoes."

"A very spacious house with plenty of charm. The setting is wonderful, almost a clearing in the trees. Would highly recommend. Hosts were extremely helpful, generous and charming."

"La maison est idéalement située pour découvrir la région. Au calme, mais à 5 minutes de Saint Cyprien, une jolie petite ville où on trouve tout ce qu'il faut. La maison est très agréable avec ses différentes terrasses, sa belle piscine, et une vue extraordinaire. Elle est très bien équipée et spacieuse. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour."

"We stayed for a week and hired both gites for our family. It was utterly perfect in every way - we wanted for nothing. We most enjoyed the privacy of the main pool which overlooks luscious countryside bustling with life and the stunning western sunsets in the cool sky. Sonia and Mark are consumate well experienced hosts who always try to accommodate any requests where possible. We highly recommend this if you wish for an up market break in a beautiful countryside location near all the Beautiful...
