"The room was very clean, the bed was was very comfortable, but the pillows were terrible, out of eight pillows on the two beds we could not find one that was not lumpy and hard. Good thing I had our two pillows from home in our vehicle, otherwise we would not have gotten a good night sleep."

The room was clean and comfortable, I felt safe, I enjoyed a nice shower after a long drive and then got cozied up and watched Tombstone on TV until I fell asleep. I slept well, no noise, just the right temperature in the room. Affordable and comfortable- just what I needed. Will stay again! "

"It had a good view of the river. Facility has an old school look and feel but was super clean and cozy. Mattress was a bit more firm than I like but I still had a great and quiet sleep. Overall, my wife and I will definitely be back on again!"

"I was on a long drive and needed a place to spend the night between St Louis and Columbia MO. I found Motel 70 to be absolutely perfect. Motel 70 is an older facility right off I-70, but for the value I thought I would give it a try. The Manager was fantastic and made me feel at home. The room was clean, including the bathroom, and had all the necessities I needed. The bedding was much better than I expected and again it was clean. "The hotel was good for the price. The pool was very big and unique. The floors in the room could have used a bit more cleaning. I was stepping all over rocks and crumbs and dirt and sand and after getting out of the shower and walking to the bed, my feet were dirty and completely black on the bottom. When going to check out, no one was at the front desk to pass the info on and hadn't been for a minute I'm guessing because we just piled our card on the desk with all of the others. "Very basic older motel. No breakfast and it's bare bones. It is very quiet and very clean. Be aware that if you give them a CC for a "deposit", they will charge you $51.50 BUT only refund $50.00. I am disputing the $1.50 surcharge because they didn't inform me of that policy."
