"Liked the old world charm of this hotel. Staff were very attentive, good breakfast. However, Expedia advertises this hotel as Curia Palace Hotel, Spa and Golf. This is erroneous, the golf facility has been closed for 8 years!!! We had brought our clubs for nothing and were very disappointed. Golfers beware!"

"Positives: - Beautiful location near a lake, large swimming pool. Negatives: - Apartment I stayed in is in need of a refurb and missing amenities e.g only one hair drier in a 6 guests flat, no ironing board or anywhere to hang clothes in one of the rooms. - Poor service - booked a boat trip at the hotel’s marina through reception, on the day and time booked no one was there, had to call reception twice to be told boat needs maintenance. "Big room in a quiet old manor/estate. A bit hard to find, google did okay however the entrance was not signed very well. Stairs to room, good breakfast and quiet area. Grounds are dated but the house is clean and spacious. Host was helpful offering maps of the area and ideas for restaurants. "
