"We had - 14 of us, 11 adults three children - a really good week at Borgo Alto. The location is stunning and the space is great. As a former hotel, the accommodation is a bit odd for a big family group - with separate rooms in different buildings, but it worked well. The only thing it lacks is a comfortable lounge area. "The property itself is very small but for two people it's perfect. Open plan with a little somewhat steep staircase up to the bedroom area. We like to be off the beaten track and this just right for us, the private courtyard (that includes the shower/washing machine) was a good size with multiple seating options available. Use of the families pool with views for miles including mount Etna was wonderful. Enzo was always available if needed, the Wifi wasn't working initially but he got it...

"We absolutely loved our stay. The pool was so lovely, there was a pool table, a shed full of pool/beach equipment, lots of sun beds tables and chairs. A Bbq and lots of shaded areas. We had the outside area to ourselves which looking back at the reviews is normal, there is another property in the garden which we think someone was in but the shutters were closed for our entire stay and we only saw someone come and go a couple of times but no one used the garden area.
