"This hotel was clean and the breakfast was excellent and it was extremely convenient. We were able to walk to a variety of restaurants and the Marks & Spencer. There was a mini fridge in the room and the room was immaculate. We took the hop on hop off bus tour which was also convenient. We would highly recommend this hotel, and we would stay there again."

"Great location within walking distance to everything within Inverness. Great views of River Ness and the Castle. Room was cute and spacious but the bed was not comfy at all. Not sure if this was just our room but anytime would flush the toilet or take a shower the plumbing would sound like a barge was coming through - this would go on for the entire shower. It is an older hotel so assumed is just old plumbing but that was super annoying. Additionally someone's dog must of pooped on the entry floor and it was tracked all through and up the steps and they didn't clean it up until the next morning and it smelled awful. No parking but car park within few minutes walk and only 5 pounds a day. "

"The girl at the desk was running the whole show the night we were there. I believe her name was Louise. She checked us in, got us drinks at the bar, waited on us for dinner and gave us directions to where we wanted to go. She was amazing! The beach down the road was stunning. Good food as well. Breakfast staff was also very pleasant. "

"I understand that all the rooms are different and the owners tell you that up front. Having said that, we spent 3 weeks in Scotland and this was the best room we stayed in. Very roomy bedroom and bathroom and everything worked. What else can you ask for? Easy walking distance to the heart of the city was a big plus."

"Convenient location next to the train station. Room was tidy. Double bed is awfully small for two people, but we made do. Really our only complaint is that the room was hot and hard to get comfortable."
